NAG, or National Age Group, Motivational Times are the basis for Lake Erie Swimming's meet qualification system.
Swimmers must have times B or slower to participate in Bronze meets. Their times must be faster than B but slower than A for Silver meets. Finally, their times must be A or Faster for Gold meets.
Two other significant meets based on this system are the Mid-States Quadrangle Meet, which requires AA times, and Zones, which requires AAA times.
