Select Youth Practice Changes:
Friday, May 8: Select Youth practice will be from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool due to a Woodbury Elementary School function. Please pick up your swimmers from the Onaway parking lot on this night.
Monday, May 11: Select Youth practice will be from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool due to the Woodbury Open House.
Friday, May 15: Select Youth practice will be from 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool due to a Woodbury Elementary School function. Please pick up your swimmers from the Onaway parking lot on this night.
Saturday, May 16: There will be no senior group, select youth, or pre-select youth practice (9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at Woodbury) due to a staff in-service.

Friday, March 20: We will follow a regular practice schedule; however, since there is no school for grades K - 8 (Conference Day) there will be no Woodbury Sharks morning practice. Woodbury Shark swimmers are encouraged to attend one of the evening practices at the Middle School (5:20 - 6:00 p.m. or 6:40 - 7:20 p.m.).
Tuesday, March 24: Select youth practice will be from 6:40 - 7:40 p.m. at the Middle School due to the High School winter sports award night.
Wednesday, March 25: There will be NO select youth practice, pre-select youth practice, all sharks, or developing sharks practices due to the Shaker Sharks Awards Night. Don’t forget: the Shaker Sharks Awards Program on March 25th from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Shaker Middle School Auditorium. Every swimmer gets an award. Desserts and beverages will be provided by the Sharks.
Reminder: select youth practices are now held from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Woodbury Pool. Saturday select youth and preselect youth practices will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Woodbury Pool.
Now - end of the school year: developing sharks will be permitted to attend the 11:00 - 11:40 a.m. Saturday youth sharks practice at the Middle School.
Spring Break Practices
MONDAY, MARCH 30 - THURSDAY, APRIL 2 (all practices are at the Woodbury Pool)
- MASTERS 5:45 - 7:15 a.m.
- High School/Sr group 3:45 - 5:15 p.m.
- All Sharks/Developing Sharks 5:20 - 6:00 p.m.
- Select Youth/Pre-Select Youth 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
No Shark practices will be held on Saturday, March 28, Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
Regular practice schedule will resume on Monday, April 6.

PRACTICE CHANGES:
Friday, March 6: We will follow a regular practice schedule; however, since there is no school for grades K - 6 (Professional/Clerical Day) there will be no Woodbury Sharks morning practice. Woodbury Shark swimmers are encouraged to attend one of the evening practices at the Middle School (5:20 - 6:00 p.m. or 6:40 - 7:20 p.m.).
Friday, March 13: There will be no 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. practice at the Middle School due to the Silver Championship meet.
Saturday, March 14: There will be no select youth or preselect youth practice (9:30 - 11:00 a.m.) or youth shark practice (11:00 - 11:40 a.m.) at the Middle School due to the Silver Championship meet.
Beginning Monday, March 16, the 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. practices will no longer be held at the Middle School.
- Eighth grade swimmers should attend the Senior Shark Group practice. These practices are Monday through Friday from 3:45 - 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Woodbury Pool.
- Seventh grade swimmers should ask Brendan which practice they should attend.
Beginning Monday, March 16, select youth practice will be from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Woodbury Pool. Saturday select youth and preselect youth practices will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the Woodbury Pool.
Beginning Saturday, March 20, developing sharks will be permitted to attend the 11:00 - 11:40 a.m. youth sharks practice at the Middle School.

Shaker Shark Night and Practice Information

Shaker Shark Night and Practice Information:
Friday, January 30: Select youth practice will be from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool. There will be no youth shark practices at the Middle School due to the Shaker Shark Night at the Woodbury Pool. Shark swimmers are encouraged to come and see an exciting High School swim meet - Shaker versus Orange at the Woodbury Pool starting at 6:00 p.m. All SHSH swimmers who wear their Shaker Sharks t-shirts will get into the high school meet for free. In addition, free pizza and refreshments will be served after the meet. The SHAKER SHARKS NIGHT will end by 8:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 5: Select youth practice will be from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. at the Middle School.
Friday, February 6: Select youth practice will be from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. at the Middle School.
Friday, February 13: Select youth practice will be from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m. at the Middle School.
Please remember, when the Shaker Schools are closed due to weather there will be no Shaker Shark practices.
Practices are cancelled today

Due to the inclement weather, all Shaker Swimming practices are cancelled TODAY, Wednesday, January 28, 2009. This includes the following: Shaker High School practice at Woodbury, select youth practice at Woodbury, Middle School group (3:45- 5:15 p.m.) practice at the MS, youth sharks, developing sharks and pre-select youth practices at the MS.
Attention Shaker HS Swimmers

Attention Shaker HS swimmers and parents:
- Friday, January 16: Practice and the home meet against Mentor have been cancelled.
- Saturday, January 17: The NE Classic Invitational is on! Swimmers who are swimming in the meet - the bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. from Woodbury. Swimmers who are not swimming in the meet - practice at Woodbury from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Friday, January 9: Select youth practice will be at the Middle School from 3:45 - 5:15 p.m.
Saturday, January 10: There will be no select youth or youth shark practice at the Middle School due to the New Year’s Stretch Meet at Rocky River High School.
Friday, January 16: Select youth practice will be from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool.
Monday, January 19: We will follow a regular practice schedule; however, since there is no school (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) there will be no Woodbury Sharks morning practice. Woodbury Shark swimmers are encouraged to attend one of the evening practices at the Middle School (5:20 - 6:00 p.m. or 6:40 - 7:20 p.m.).
Friday, January 23: Since there is no school at the Shaker Middle School (teacher professional/clerical day), the Middle School practice will start at 3:15 p.m. (not 3:45 p.m.) and end at 5:15 p.m. Youth shark, developing sharks, and pre-select youth practices will remain the same.
Saturday, January 24: There will be no select youth or youth shark practice at the Middle School due to the 10 & Under Meet at Kent Roosevelt High School.
Friday, January 30: Select youth practice will be from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. at the Woodbury Pool. There will be no youth shark practices at the Middle School due to the Shaker Shark Night at the Woodbury Pool. Practice Changes

There will be no select youth practice on Friday, October 31. There will be no 6:00 - 6:40 p.m., 6:40 - 7:20 p.m. or 6:40 - 7:40 p.m. practice for youth sharks on Friday, October 31 (Happy Halloween). If a swimmer wants to get a practice in on Friday, October 31 please attend the 5:20 - 6:00 p.m. practice.
There will be no morning Woodbury practice on the following days, however there will be youth shaker practices at the Middle School and select youth practice at Woodbury:
